Gina Stars in Award-Winning Short Film

Gina had a blast acting in Colleen Mooney’s experimental comedy short, “The Furniture.” She plays Claire Swivel Chair, CEO of the Home Office. The film premiered at Rack Focus New Mexico Film Competition at Albuquerque’s Historic Lobo Theater on August 9, 2026, where it won the audience choice “Outside the Box” award and was also nominated for Best Director and Best Editor. It went on to screen at the Guild Cinema’s “FILM FATALE: short films by female filmmakers from New Mexico” program and is now out for film festival submission.
